Have you ever viewed
a landmark out the window of an
airplane and wondered exactly what you were
looking at? "Sights of Flight" now provides a
solution! Cities, mountains, and bodies of
water can now be experienced in a whole new light
by the commercial air traveler. Landmarks
are mapped on the screen of your Windows
CE device allowing you to identify the things
that you see out of the window of an airplane.
MAIN SCREEN
-----------
FILE - EXIT : Exits the program.
TOOLS - OPTIONS: Brings up Options screen.
TOOLS - SIMULATION: Toggles simulation mode. In
simulation mode the plane moves
considerably faster.
HELP - Contents: Brings up this file.
HELP - About: Version and company
information.
Features:
1. Clicking on unlabeled landmarks in the main
screen will show the landmark name in a text
box at the top of the screen.
2. Your starting airport and destination airport
are shown in text boxes at the top of the
screen. To change these go into Options.
3. The screen will refresh periodically showing
you a new section of the terrain.
OPTIONS SCREEN
--------------
1. To change the starting airport just click in
the text box for starting airport. Then choose the
airport from which you are leaving from the list
below or type the three letter code directly into the
box.
2. To change the destination airport just click
in the text box for destination airport. Notice that
the heading on the list below changes to "Choose
Destination Airport". You can then choose it
from the list below or type the
three letter code directly into the box.
3. Starting Time - Type the military time for
when your plane took off. "Sights of Flight" uses this
time to
calculate how far the plane has traveled.
4. Airplane Type - Choose the type of airplane
in which you are traveling. "Sights of Flight" uses
this to calculate how the speed at which a plane
can travel.
Registration

"Sights of Flight" is shareware which you are
required to register if you continue to use it after 30
days.
Registration price is $25.
The price of registration entitles you to free
upgrades for up to one year from the purchase date.
